Allergic to Marijuana?

I have really weird effects to weed... I sweat a lot.. my heart pretty much stops. The second time I smoked I checked my heart rate, somewhere in between one beat every 4-5 second. I completely loose my vision. Just black with some static. Exactly the same as if my eyes are closed. My friends tell me my face turns green. I believe since the blood is empty of oxygen by the time it gets to my face. My eyes turn pure red. I will have them take a picture next time I smoke.. In case anyone is interested. O and I tried going to lye down the 2nd time, and I got about 5 feet and collapsed.. Just fell over. No control of my muscles. Lasted about 4 minutes. I believe I was close to death on these experiences. Or maybe I'm over thinking it..?

Not sure if its an allergy but I would definately stop smoking if I were having those symptoms.

why are you going to smoke again???? getting high doesnt feel good enough to risk dying

I have not had a panic attack before, so I don't know if it could be. Although I don't think that would really explain my symptoms..? I am overweight, (230 lbs, 6'1)but am very physically active. But I am not sure about the high blood pressure. Yet it does sound like I'm having a heart attack in some ways.

assuming that you checked your heart rate you could be wrong but I wouldn't risk it man

I don't think it's even possible for your heart to beat only once every 5 seconds. thats only 12bpm, and I think the lowest resting heartrate ever recorded was something in the 40-50bpm area. I think you'd die if it got any lower than that, as blood would hardly be flowing and you'd go numb eventually and your organs would shut down for lack of blood flow.

Dude.. quit smoking! That sounds like an acute drop in blood pressure.. that's NOT safe!

Oh and my grandfather's pulse is usually in the 30s-40s... just so you know Headtrip

These symptoms, as just mentioned sound like a sharp drop in blood pressure... I get it sometimes after taking a big hit, I've had it once or twice while just really high, usually only lasts a few seconds. The fact that your heart rate is droping just seems to suggest this even more. If this is the case I'd stop smoking, your body just wasn't meant to handle it. I'm assuming you also feel kind of light headed with scrambled thoughts that don't really seem to come through?

I've gotten the same symptoms. It didn't happen every time I smoked, was periodic. But it came to a point where I had to make a decision to cut marijuana out completely, getting tired of the stress involved when it did happen. This is what got me thinking I had a heart problem. I started slapping heart monitors on my chest left and right, seeing heart specialists, getting as many opinions as possible. Every doctor/specialist tells me in remarkable physical shape, as far as my heart goes. Not having anything physically wrong with my heart, they suggested maybe I have dysautonomia, meaning my automomic nervous system was a bit out of whack. In a person with healthy central nervous system, if an action were to happen where a sudden decrease or increase of blood pressure took place, the person's autonomic nervous system would regulate blood pressure back to normal, efficiently. For me, my blood pressure would take a very long time to return to normal, even after a simple action of standing up, not even smoking pot.

I was told to exercise, which I hadn't been. This, the doctor's and specialists said, would greatly improve the efficiency of my autonomic nervous system. So I did, and it did. I've been jogging regularly, lifting weights, and various other exercises, which as helped incredibly. I haven't tried smoking pot since, but I've got a feeling I'd be ok.

Go see a doctor if you're worried you may have a heart problem. Chances are you're fine, but better safe than sorry. And exercise.

Yeah, i get the blood pressure thing too.. i have to just drink gatorade while getting high and after and make sure my blood sugar level keeps up.. it seems to help with the dizziness and blood pressure drops :-)

That doesnt sound anything like an acute drop in blood pressure - the first thing your body does when your blood pressure drops is to compensate by boosting the sympathetic nervous system through release of norepinephrine and epinephrine, making your heart beat FAST not slow.
If your heart rate is slowing its got more to do with abnormalities of heart rhythm that blood pressure issues.
its not an allergy - i would get your self checked out though. Heart rate abnormalities and aryhthima can be quite serious.

I have dysautonomia and i can tell you that weed is unfortunately a no no cause it fucks with your blood pressure and our nervous system over compensates,

when I was having more problems with it, I would stand up fast and get tunnel vision, my heart slowed down due to the decrease in blood pressure. I can feel my heart slam against my chest about 1 beat per couple seconds. It would do this for 15-30 seconds, then start normalizing and beat faster.

LOL all i can say is marijuana is not your drug, quit it and forget it for sometime. Maybe try it agina in lik 10 years but for now i guess your going to have to stick to shrooms. :P

Shrooms are pretty much impossible to find in milwaukee. I was going to say that I cannot get acid, but I did once. Took 2 hits for my first try. At first, I believe on the comup, I got a very strong high/buzz. And lights seemed different. Then I get a extremely strong hot flash. This was probably in march. It was about 60 degrees. I was very very serious about going swimming at a pond I was so hot. If I was completely sober I would have got into a cold bath. I am lucky I didnt die. As I'm sure my tempature was well over 100. Lasted about 3 hours. Then I got cold. I am just not a lucky person I guess. No adverse effects to shrooms lol... But I think I do to pretty much everything else. Including salvia, and alchol.
