unexpected mushrooms, still good???

I have a bin in the garage of B+ spawned to poo. I got two flushes and a third never came. Then today I was going to dump the bin after like three weeks or so. I hadnt looked in the bin for a while and to my suprise there where huge mushies. They are over mature. There are spores all over and some of the caps are now black. Are these still good to eat? I'll post pics when my girl gets home with the camera. The caps are HUGE. thanks all.

They'll taste nasty because of all the spores, but if you dry them before eating, the drying process will neutralize any live bacteria that may be growing that could cause nausea.

also If they are still good can I dry the msuhies with the spores on them and them wipe them off or should I try and wipe the spores off first. thanks.

black from spores droping on them or rot?

i forgot about some once all caps open and turning inside out. they where fine not sure if i eat them or a friend but no reports back about an one getting sick.

just wonderin, not necessarilly for me to eat probably sell them if they wont make anyone sick, ive eaten to much mushies since I started growing

I wouldnt eat them because I have eaten alot of mushies lately, If people say they are ok them i would eat them if I wasnt so sick of mushrooms right now. And dont tell me you eat every mushroom you grow.

your still giving other people mushrooms it doesnt matter about the price. So why dont people tell off people who do bulk grows, you know they are selling them. Also I dont think the gov is too happy about growing them either. Isnt it illegal just to possess or grow them also?

That is why I asked the queston on the internet. READ my first post, does it not say ARE THESE ALRIGHT TO EAT??? I am not saying that i am keeping them for sure I am trying to find out if they are alright. SO if you just want to dog on me for selling some eighths when you grow mushies yourself than dont post here unless you have the answer to the question

I've known ppl that do bulk grows just for themselves/friends. (They keep for ever) Yes, it is illegal to grow/possess. It's immoral/selfish to expect someone to eat something that you wouldn't. I'm wasting my time explaining this to someone that doesn't know this already. :thumbdown:
