Well im gonna have to apologize... My fear was realized today as I hunted for 3-4 hours to no avail... The drought we had before all the rains the past couple days prevented any kind of successful/ecstatic growth.

I guess now we all know that weilii will not grow no matter how great the rains are if there has been a dry spell preceeding it. What the rain did however do is rehydrate all the mycellium so that the following rains could have them fruit.

This reminds me exactly of what happened last season, it rained very hard for 3 days but it was right after a long drought. I hunted for hours then too with no finds.

My lesson learned: Weilii will fruit when it rains for a few days but only if the mycellium is already hydrated from previous rains.

I remember you learning that same lesson last fall. lol

hey, I am new to mushroom hunting and was wondering if you could help me out.I know from many posts and from some of my friends that you are very knowlegable about weilii so I would really appreciate it if you would give me some information that would help me find some weilii. I've taken weilii quite a few times and nothing else really compares to them want and to start hunting them myself. I was wondering if your familiar with the Alpharetta area and if you could direct me in any areas that are known to produce weilii. I know of a few neighborhoods that popular weilii spots but I haven't found any yet. I know its been i pretty slow season since it hasnt rained too much but i was just wondering if you could direct me to any wooded areas that might produce once we have some rainfall. I'm really just looking for some weilii to enjoy while I go camping so I would really appreciate if you would send me a reply.

There is your answer. Now stop being lazy and go hunting!
(P.S. be sure to bring a camera in case you find some. The current weilii porn doesn't get me off anymore)

I went to st thomas and camped out ontop of the island... Despite my entire family being poor all my life, the land is priceless.
I was chased by haitians in the main city charlotte amalie when my girlfriend and I got some cocaine for free in a bar and mixed it with alcohol, to form a stronger drug. With such confidence at 2am, we walked the 4-5 or so miles down to the beach where the african slaves lie like lions waiting on tourist prey.

The war isen't on drugs... the war is on the causes that influence people to abuse drugs. drug-abuse is a by-product of the system and much like radioactive waste occurs from utilizing nuclear power, drug addicts with drug-problems will need to be properly disposed of, like the decaying radioactive waste produced from nuclear energy. -i2ancid
