First decent weilii find(pics)

One of my more prolific patches has put up its first fruits of the year, and from the looks of it, I was a day late and a dollar short of finding them in their prime. There were a few baseball sized weilii that were past there prime by a few days, doen't take long to spoil and over mature with all the rain we've been getting.

Here are two pics, I have lots of great pics from today, but I am only allowed to share 2 more for the day since I already posted 2 pics of that fairy ring. I plan to hit up a good bit of my other patches later today, so there will be more pics to follow tommarow.

Quite a shifty shroom, arnt they? those last pics you posted had totally browny-black stems, these are clean and white looking.

Come on one and all. I jave worked on LK's Image becaseu the true beauty of these children must be presented in a clear light.
Look at how these mu7shrooms glow. They shimmer, they are magnificent and we all have to thank LK for his presence here at the shroomery and thank him for sharing with us the fruits of his labour.

Agreed MJ!! If it wasn't for LK's help, I would never have found my first weilii! So yes, THANKS LK!

Unlike the weilii pictures posted earlier this week, these look like the weilii's I weas finding last fall. It may be time to take that hour and half drive to my patches.









Also since my nose is already brown.....
