Very nice pics LK, wow weilii really has an air of the magical...sweet. I will have to come down to GA sometime and go hunting with you...that would be sweet.

Come on down saint, I need a friend to share these weilii with, so far GGreatOne is the only one to come pick with me. You too MJ, you should come on down and do some weilii picking and check out the new species I found, maybe some atlantis too.
Man, I ate 4 fresh weilii late last night and they were extremely potent, almost a complete ego shattering experiance, quite intense, and I can still taste them today
LK,

I think aaron has done some agar work, I know he grew some successfully. I am going to try it soon, with my 1 and a half prints...can't wait.

I tried to grow these and got successful fruits but the bad part was that the fruits were of the cubensis variety and not weilii.

Does this psylocibe species not have a veil? All those shots have no remnants of the veil tissure on the stem or caps...just wondering.
Are these related to the Azurescens? The caps kinda look like azures...
What is their trip like?
Love & Light,
Boppity

Lizard King is a very busy Man...he only posts every few days or so...You will need to remain vigilant...check who is online every ten minutes, maybe a few people should do it, operate in shifts...maybe then will you be able to find the portal.

Hehe, I got the day off today, well half a day anyways, so I'll take some time to ease some folks minds. Saint is telling you the truth, I am a very busy mofo lately. My father and I have started a family buisness in construction, it takes 12 hour days, 6 days a week to keep things running smoothly sometimes. Ontop of that I have legal troubles you wouldn't believe, so bear with me
Whoever noticed that weilii doesn't have a veil is correct. They have what you call a partial cortinate veil, which is a spider webby looking veil that quickly disappears as the fruits mature. I'll post a pic of it in a minute to show exactly what I'm describing.
Whoever said they had a print of weilii and grew it out only to find out they were growing cubensis, check your source. The only vendor that has authentic weilii prints that are from me personally is sporeworks and soon to be south florida shroom base. I have given away some prints of weilii in trades and contest and someone could have easily mixed them up with other prints in their collection, I dunno, someone might have just gyped your ass
Those of you in the area that are interested in picking with me will have to wait. First off there aren't weilii fruiting in my patches right now, they don't really start to take off until early fall, right now I'm only getting a hand full of fruits a week. Second off I am on probation at the moment and really can't be taking risks with folks I don't really know, I know that sounds bad but its the truth. I have known saint and GGreatone for a while now and I wold feel comfortable and confident in meeting them. I guess I shouldn't have made any commments in a public forum inviting people to come picking, that was a bad desicion on my part. That diesn't mean that some of you who asked to come picking won't get the chance this season, but just not right now.
As far as tips on where to look for these majestic beauts, try a search on the term "weilii" and you'll find more than you need to know.
LK,
