A few from the other day. They are starting to come in other patches of mine now, season is about to take off after all this rain GA has had. We set a new precip record for the month of may, 9.75 inches of rain so far.
Not the best pics, but hey, it was getting dark out and my camera doesn't focus well in low light.

Yes, much more so than Cubensis.
They're comparable to azures.
They rank up in the top 3 for highest potency, I'd guess.

thanks for the pictures as always lk! i swear weilii's have many different looks. none of the one's i have found looked anything like those, but the one's i found were mostly in the grass and i guess that has a little bit to do with appearence.
as far as potency....weilii's are NO JOKE!! i have been trying to say this for awhile now, be careful with your dosages on these bad boys cause they don't play around!

Is it true that the potency goes way down when dried for this species? How do dried weilii compare to cubies or azures?

potency doesn't go down much....thats for sure!!! or least i don't think the potency goes down anymore than any other shroom out there, especially when dried correctly.
my dried wielii will f'in blow your head off!

P. azurescens will lose 1/2 of their potency within three months of being dried.

Hey man, nice pics. I found 3 weilii in my most productive patch yesterday, but my other patches haven't started fruiting. Can't wait till they are in full season

That is a tough looking shroom! 
.....those weilii's can really put ones head in the clouds.
The most powerful mushroom on the planet i do think.
Many shroomy days turn into many shroomy nights.

they don't grow in florida.
they grow up in atlanta georgia where the there are no palm trees and instead of sand they have red clay.
-It is like an entirely different world up there.

I did a search and couldn't find anything about Weilii cultivation. Are there any people out there that are trying to grow this mushroom?
It's kind of sad that only people from one area get to enjoy it.

What about what JOSH did?
he did them indoors, it was a great growlog well its worth the try!
The last posts i saw last year sead they grew under sweetgum trees!
And i figured that from another post saying they grew in the grass also?
ill bet that i can get them to grow here, if i provide the right substrate!!

Erowid is just wrong. Look at the pictures of them. The caps turn blue on their own from all the psilocybin in them. I've seen the bluing get so extreme that they'll turn black. They're by far one of the most potent known Psilocybes.

I posted the Gartz Stamets paper on Weilii cultivation and the taxonomy here in the shroomy a year or so ago. Look inthe search enjines for them.
And bluing is not an indication of potency. Bigwood and Beug 1082 and Beug and Bigwood, and several others have found no correlation that the bluing is any indication of potency. It is psilocine oxidizing when the shrooms skin is damaged. ANd your body has to convetr what ever psioocyine is in the shroom into psilocine so the bluing could be an indication in a loss of potency.

weilii is actually lower in potency then cubensis
.61% psilocybin, .27% psilocin, and .05% baeocystin
Top 3 would be azurescens, bohemica, and semilanceata

Regardless of what you read, weilii are more potent than cubensis by weight. Everyone who has experienced them here will verify this.
