Dude, I played football in high school and did the whole creatine/adrogen thing.
Creatine will put on weight like no other, but you have to understand that it isn't muscle mass - it's just water being retained by the creatine in your cells.
As soon as you quit taking it all of that weight will evaporate.
Overall it's pretty good stuff if you are actively working out on a constant basis, otherwise it makes you more prone to gaining weight.

I want to know how cardio effects creatine intake, and if it's possible to show abs while on it.
Well there is your problem. You have to do extreme cardio for creatin to get it's maximum benifit.
You see cause it hydrates your entire body promoting muscle healing after a workout.
So if your question is:
Q:If I take creatine and lift weights will I be able to see my abs? A:If you can't see them already - NO
Q:If I take creatine, lift weights, and do cardio will I be able to see my abs? A:If you work hard - YES

And I can't really see them now.
Okay, your'e really getting too caught on the creatine aspect of this.
You can feasibly just work out and run and you will eventually be able to see your abs.
Abs are a hard group of muscles to show off, and what affects your mid-section far more than your workout routine is your diet.
Want to see your abs in a short period of time? A. Eat foods that are high in carbs, low in trans fat B. Work out with the creatine doing about 60% cardio and 40% weights C. Crunches crunches and more crunches

Don't bother cycling creatine. There's no point, especially for creatine monohydrate. It's cheap as hell and you can take it for months on end. Creatine doesn't hold water under the skin much, it holds it in the muscle like you said. *********** TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS ***********
Everyone still says once you stop taking creatine, all your gains go away.... yeah, if you're a bitch lol. Don't let them go away! Keep eating lots, keep drinking lots and keep working out lots and you won't lose your gains. You will shed some water weight, but you won't lose your gains. You may drop the weight a little bit or lose a rep here and there, but it's not as drastic as people make it out to be.
When you're taking creatine, pump up your fucking muscles like crazy. Make them explode out of your skin. This is great because hyperhydration creates an anabolic response that tells your body to get bigger. You're breaking down cell walls in your muscles because there's no space. Why work out and get to 80% and make minimal gains, when you can pump your muscles up to their MAXIMUM capacity and make monster gains?

I think that you can definitely take creatine and maintain a flat stomach. I'm taking creatine and doing cardio for the first time ever and starting to get more cuts.
Try doing stomach vaccuums as well.

Working the transverse abdominals is great, and very functional. My squats and deadlifts and a lot more comfortable because my core strength is MUCH stronger. Even being skinny, my gut would hang out a little but not anymore. Vacuums are key.

I'd say take 5g four times a day. Have some as soon as you wake up, before your workout (whenever you feel is comfortable, have it in a shake 1 hour to assess your tolerance), immediately following your work out and before bed. This is tried, tested and true. You want to take it when your insulin is peaked. So make sure to get your high GI carbs in after you work out. It will safely and gently restore depleted glycogen stores, whilst taking in the creatine at the most efficient times. Just remember that Creapure (creatine monohydrate) doesn't dissolve in water. I'd say about 1% dissolves, leaving you with a sandy grit. If you want to be a man, put it in your mouth and shoot it. If not, just swish it around in your glass or protien shaker. You'll be a pro in no time.
They say to cycle creatine but that train of thought has since been abolished. Just like how acid turns you into a vegetable and mushrooms make your brain bleed, creatine should be cycled
Vaccums really do work amazingly enough lol
I wondered if they'd really work because if you blow out all your air and contract your abs to their peak, you feel the muscles really get a good workout. Those are your transverse abdominals. Logically if they're tighter, your fricken gut isn't going to hang out. And when you're skinny and still have a gut, you can't expect a million crunchs or weighted exersizes to make it go back INWARDS, it'll stick out sadly. It helped me to pull in my little pot belly. Hope they work for you too because I hate working abs. I tried to get as much indirect workout from everything else so I don't have to train them.
