How long for pins to grow?

Hi every body, this is my first post, and also my first grow. I am using the PF Tek with a bucket to fruit my cakes in. I also mistakenly confused vermiculite for perlite when putting a layer on the bottom of my bucket for humidification. But besides my errors, (which I will be fixing very soon) I was wondering how long it takens your cakes to pin from when you first put them in. I really want to become good at this, so thanks for any responces

Welcome!:), It normally takes anywhere from 2 weeks too 4 weeks depending on how long you let the jars mature before removing the cakes. Hurry with your perlite correction though because cakes need to be kept very humid.:)bluhoney
