10 years ago I had a very bad trip. As I approached level 5 I paniced. Now every time I approach level 4 or 5 I panic. Any ideas how to get back on track.

It would be helpful to know the dosage, drug and nature of your bad trip. As well as the drugs and dosages you have since reached level 4 or 5 on. Cursorily I would say that a good way to get over a bad trip would be Salvia. Even though it is completely overwhelming it only lasts 5 minutes. Once you are comfortable in smoked salvia space you can quid the leaves for a trip that lasts 1-3 hours. Once you are comfortable there you might be ready for other drugs again

Dosage would be 6 hits of gel tabs, pretty potent ones. Most likely silver. Of course who knows how many mics it was. When reality started to dissolve I paniced, fearing what my body would do when my mind was elsewhere.I felt fear I compare to being chased by lions.
Since then I have done lots of liquid silver, liquid fluff ,cacti, shrooms. I have pretty much quit tripping when the lsd dried up, but would like to restart.

First off quantifying(sp?) your trips may not be the best idea for you. I mean this with an example of,"oh this and this and this is starting to happen, just like last time, time to freak out."
Secondly, well less secondly, this is the bulk of my suggestion, but secondly: you should asess what it is that really put you into a "bad trip" (if such a thing exists). You mentioned you were afraid you were afraid you were not be in total control of your body while your mind was busy elsewhere. Not a irrational concern if I do say so myself. But try to look for a solution to this problem. The most obvious answer would be a trip sitter. Somebody sober that you trust absolutely. You must put your trust into this person to take care of you and make sure that nothing ill happens to you while you are becoming one with the universe. Lastly, dose less. See if you can start lower and work your way up slowly to "level 4 and 5". It might work better if you can ease your way into it rather than jumping in head first. Good luck.

I suggest starting off with a lower dose, and working your way back up. You could also take 1/2 of your high dose and if your feeling ok and are able too, take the rest.
