Winamp's Shuffle

Listening to musikk in Winamp (2.91, of course ), with the shuffle function on. Over three thousand songs, and two of the last three have been Led Zeppelin (Living Loving Woman and The Battle of Evermore).
What is up with shuffle and the crazyness that it creates? It is always doing weird shit like that, agansit the odds...
 Peace.

You should switch to iTunes.

Is its shuffle feature more logical?
I've stuck with Winamp 2.91 because the skin I use rules. Its always demanding that I upgrade, due to security risks, etc. etc. etc... fuck that!
Now its playing Orgy, before that, Vintersorg. I think I need to go to bed...
 Peace.

I just started using iTunes recently. The visualizer feature is badass. I could stare at that for hours.

It's got the best visualizer around for sure. Beats the pants off WinAmp and that piece of shit Windows Media Player.

Hhhm... perhaps I will check iTunes out. Fuck WMP, as well, I will not tolerate programming making the decisions as to what files I will and will not use, regardless of whether or not I have the "licensing".
 Peace.

the thing I like about winamp is the nice sexy docked/blind mode or whatever so you can "always on top" it and put it up next to the right hand close/min/max area. ditto witht he playlist editor and you cana lways see what's on.
buyt yteah the shuffle does suck, I have 8k+ songs on my list and I swear I hear the same 2-3% over and over.
edit to add: i use the default "classic" winamp skin or whatever.

What's wrong with the winamp visualisations? Milkdrop kicks ass and R4 is also pretty good. There's a ton more to download.
