Winamp Presets

I always use the old school winamp, which has a "PRESETS" button which you can load presets wich will change the winamp equalizer so it suits the music.......heavy metal....rap......etc......

but.........


i never can find presets, ever

I searched for 20 minutes once and never found ANY for metal or rap.

please direct me into good winamp presets if you know any!

Doooood...

Just make your own and save 'em to .EQF files. That way the settings match YOUR speakers. Duh. :wink: :smile:

And... If you turn on "Auto" the eq will change for each song you previuosly changed the settings on... But you may have known that.

Is there not suposed to be an installation confirmation on either of those? I open them both and they run for like 2 seconds then close. How do you get to the Enhancer interface?

I'm using Winamp 5.01. I didn't see any requirements. =/

old classic winamp is key...........simple, easy iface, classic and I have memories of using it when under psychedelic use =D

Good advice:

Upgrade to 5.2.

I know how you feel. Been there myself. But the security issues and holes in 2.x were a concern and I notice better performance and a quite a few bug fixes. Try it, you'll like it. The upgrade retains all your current settings, so no worries there.

The attached file is a crack to make it Winamp Pro. You probably already have it though, I bet.
