Greetings fellow shroom lovers,
I just thought I'd post a greeting thread before I began posting elsewhere. A little about myself, I'm fairly new to mycology. I'm doing a PF tek of PR's, dunk and DEC.I've been a member of a couple of mycology forums, but only recently began growing myself. I'm really just here to learn from you guys, and maybe make a couple of cyber Buddy's in the process. Please feel free at any point to constructively criticise my methods. After all I am fairly new to this, and I'm always open to learn from others more knowledgeable then myself.
Thanks in advance for your hospitality guys, and I look forward to getting to know the other growers and members in the near future.
Take care, and happy growing,
Fingers
P.S Here's a couple of pics of my current grow.

I'm using an insulated, polystyrene and plastic sheeting lined cabinet laying on its back. Being winter here some form of heating is essential. I'm using a large 2500watt 11 fin oil column heater with a fairly powerful air pump drawing warmer outside air into the incubator through air lines/hoses. The hoses have a filter over their ends in an attempt to minimize contams brought in by external warm air. The heat bomb in the image leaked and blew, a few days ago, so the oil column is the current (and effective) method being used. Please feel free to comment, ask questions, etc. Thank you very much.

Best advice is learn LC's, grain spawn to h/poo substrate & cased with peat/Verm.

Thanks guys,
Toole, thanks for the comment mate, I got 30 going in there, and it is coming along I think, slower then I¡¦d hoped, but they are colonizing. I don¡¦t know how much I could teach Nick, lol unless you¡¦re getting into hydroponics? :P I¡¦ve done that for around ten years Thanks for the offer of advice, I do stress a lot about my grow, so the good advice from more experienced growers is always a great way of easing my concerns if anything goes wrong Hello again Jammer (I assume your ¡¥the¡¦ jammer of my other mycological internet clan :P) good to see you on here also dude. You can never have enough good members around online. Tripper too, you managed to make the full spectrum of home growing sound like a one sentence task you can do in a day I like it. If only it was so easy Seriously though, I¡¦m always studying teks, from basic to advanced. I¡¦m studying spawn and skimming over poo atm, just trying to gain a basic level of knowledge now, and build up to a good level of knowledge by the time I¡¦m at that point in time (and advancement) where I go some ¡¥Mr.Ed nugget¡¦ tek grow :P. Yammi, tank, and decapy, thank you guys for your hospitality also. I¡¦m like a squirrel here, except it¡¦s with tek links instead of nuts. I love it So much reading and so little time! The mycology sites I¡¦ve used are better in their way, and members then most forums of other subjects. What is it about mushy growers that keep the vast majority of them intelligent and for the greater part gentlemanly?
Good to be here guys,
See you on the threads
