Purchasing lights/fans online w/ credit card

Perhaps this is a stupid question, but; how dangerous/irresponsible is it to purchase hps lamps/fans/carbon filters from an online hydro shop w/ a credit card? If the site states that purchases are confidential can the DEA still find out? Any knowledgeable information would be greatly appreciated. And NO I don't hate you.

Depends.

There are a shit-ton of people who order everything on CC. Every aspect of a grow. Down to the seeds. Some are in jail, some are still going strong after many many years.

CC records will not be a prerequisite for a case.

They will be used against you after you fuck up and one of the agencies or local leo opens a case on you and investigates.

Also the records will be used against you in court. (which sort of goes hand in hand with the above)

So its really your call. How careful will you be? Is the grow for fun or profit?

Also the integrity of the hydro shop can factor into this. If the shop is shady and catches heat, there records may come under scrutiny.


To close: No, your purchase records alone will never get you in trouble. You are ording legal goods from legal store fronts.
