I so want to read what is in the mod forum.  I guess they talk shit on regular members in there (from what Shroomism said).  When Leary_Fan and I had a tiff I think he was talking shit on me in there.  Granted, I was talking shit on him too.

This is a permanent resignation, the way I see it, anyway. This is just a vacation. A months-long vacation most likely.

I developed a real sense of responsibility to the shroomery by being a mod, and I can't afford to split my attention span like that. This is a very addictive place, and I am in a spot in my life where I really need to focus on me. Living, breathing, physical me.

Thanks for the sentiment.

It's a very thankless job.  Plus, there are certain whiny bitches (I won't name names) that are so butthurt about mods in general that they have now made it their business to look for things that should get people banned, and then spam moderator notifications essentially saying "WHY AREN'T YOU DOING YOUR JOB?!" Well, fuck those fuckers.  That helped me get sick of the whole gig.

Seriously, being a mod sounds like it fucking sucks. I have yet to talk to a mod that enjoyed their job. They all said that it sucked and that it detracted from their Shroomery experience.

Agreed, now that the jew is gone I forsee a tragic battle.  Many will die (permabanned), others only injured(10 day ban).  Listen closely and I will tell you two things.  When the time comes and you need a weapon, look under the roots of the Menoa tree.  Then, when all seems lost and your power is insufficient, go to the rock of Kuthian and speak your name to open the Vault of Souls.  :eek:
