Old Refrigerator as an incubator

I was thinking about turning an unused refrigerator into an incubator. I think I've seen people do this before. Do you guys think a light in the lower part, surrounded by foil, connected to a thermostat would work as a stable heat source? Also does anybody know of a good thermostat that I could just plug the light into without wiring anything and has a digital temp setting? Thanks for any help.

Why not buy a submersible water heater? They'r like 20 bucks, probably a lot cheaper for a used one on ebay

Hook it up to a ceramic/metal light fixture. Install 40w bulb. Wrap bulb in a-foil. Plug in and set temp. You're done.

Take Cappa's advise, I use the same temp controller with a small electric blanket rather than a light. I thank the shroom gods every day I found that link.......Good luck, fridges work great. Also when your ready to pin, plug it in for a day or so it initiate pinning, works great......Douchebag
