Stupid game that is coming out. Check out the trailer, it's hilarious.
Quote:
· Lead the Tribulation Force from the book series , including Rayford, Chloe, Buck and Bruce against Nicolae Carpathia – the AntiChrist.
· Conduct physical & spiritual warfare : using the power of prayer to strengthen your troops in combat and wield modern military weaponry throughout the game world.
· Recover ancient scriptures and witness spectacular Angelic and Demonic activity as a direct consequence of your choices.
· Command your forces through intense battles across a breathtaking, authentic depiction of New York City .
· Control more than 30 units types - from Prayer Warrior and Hellraiser to Spies, Special Forces and Battle Tanks!
· Enjoy a robust single player experience across dozens of New York City maps in Story Mode – fighting in China Town , SoHo , Uptown and more!
· Play multiplayer games as Tribulation Force or the AntiChrist's Global Community Peacekeepers with up to eight players via LAN or over the internet!
You kill and convert people to kill and convert others.

That's just horseshit. It's really utter horseshit.
These dumbasses think their game is representative of christianity? What the flying fuck?
Hell, they don't even have their facts straight. The rapture occurs BEFORE the events of the apocalypse, the christians are long gone by the time things go crazy on earth.

Actually, that's the one thing I like about their whole "fire and brimstone" style of Christianity: It makes for good entertainment. The real message of Jesus is far too spiritual and peaceful to make for a good video game.

True, their concept does indeed make for a better videogame than the biblical version.
The last time I saw an almost-mainstream christian game, it was an embarassment.
Catechumen, anyone?

Haha, i agree. I am quite the fan of Jesus' philosophy, but it is the inclusion of other writers such as Paul into Christianity that really screws with the religion.
In many ways, i feel that Jesus' philosophy was very anti-authoritarian and anti-establishment. "Call no man rabbi, father, or master." It's anti-religion.
