Even when it conflicts with Quantum Mechanics? For someone who claims to be so informed and logical, you seem to be somewhat close-minded when it comes to this. Reality is so much more than what our eyes see and our ears hear. Humans aren't even close to discovering what reality is, and we will probably never know. There's a lot more to our universe than what brain interprets. An uncountable number of dimensions warped into whatever way it flows creating the backbone of our existence, the idea of sentience is so fucked up to begin with, who's to say there's something or nothing else?

Yea whose to say theres nothing else..Im not saying that. Hey maybe some giraffe at the local zoo is god, and he created everything, but so what? You can go on forever, its pointless and silly. Science came along and decided to maybe find out concrete things. Yes quantum is very strange, we are just looking for a link. Relativity is pretty darn good at giving us solid answers to questions. Dont take science so lightly, or please throw your computer out the window.

I never said I took science lightly. I'm just saying that all science has is a small ass piece of a much larger picture. And if it was to put together, how are you so so sure who the fool would be?

I'm openly addressing everyone with this statement:
While you may think that your own beleifs have somehow managed to rise above the level of human ability and be perfect, that nonetheless does not qualify you to demean or belittle your fellow man, even if they beleive something far different from what you do. I assure you, nobody ever did you any harm in following their beleifs. There may be dumbasses who hide behind a religion when they do harm, but we all resent them as much as you do. Please, don't be a bigot. It is never excusable to be judgemental of another religion. Especially if the primary reason is just because you dislike it. And I assure you, most arguments against religion stem from personal grudges rather than any constructive desires.
How about showing some respect for your equals? I'm certain you're capable of that.

No offense but Christians and most religious people are really jaded, and blind to the nature of things, and what is really going on, in the spirit world. Which is why I embrace almost ALL religions, as well as my own personal religion, that I have formulated from my own 'supernatural' experiences.

Einstein, most seemingly was a light autistic, an asperger. He was obsessed with the constant of the speed of light so he invented some tricks to make the speed constant. This tricks were to make time and space relative. Not a real big job, as it hides the fact, if you leave time and space constant, there IS speed higher than the speed of light: For an extreme example, take the one end and the other end of our universe. They drift apart with a much higher speed, than light. Since Einstein, all seems relative, it only is important what you will see as absolute and then all the other things will bend to that, no matter what.

Konnrade, you "assured" us that "nobody ever did you harm" through their beliefs and I'm afraid that statement is full of fallacy.

I mean come on man this is the 21st century, do we really need to keep dragging these silly beliefs along with us? We now have the technology to be like, wait those bright lights in the sky arent just gods staring at us, why those things are stars! Lets move on from this ridiculousness, I mean 'jesus'.
Some folks find it necessary to have faith in a higher power, I know it might seem archaic, but secularism has been around just as long as religion has.
but WHY?!!?!?!?!? someone needs to fucking explain that to me, because so far, it seems like believing in something that could have easily been pulled straight from someones ass thousands of years ago with no real evidence supporting it....wtf?
i don't get it. there is proof that the earth is older than 5,000 years. there is proof that the bible is full of complete bullshit. there is proof of evolution. shit, look at the sentilese tribe, they've been inhabiting an island(islands?) in the indian sea for over 30,000 YEARS.
someone explain this. i know im ignorant and don't really know much about christianity let alone any other religion, but come on....
we have 98% of the same DNA as chimpanzees. chimps are more similar to humans than they are to monkeys. how's that for evidence?
