This is one of the fastest and very easiest to grow of the poppies.Poppies are very easy to grow in the first place.Look at www. poppies.org if you want to no how to grow and the prices on their seeds are very high.I only sell persian white seeds.Poppie seeds are legally to sell and have but not to grow.Seeds are intend for cooking only.

1 gram for $16.00,3 for $25.00,10 gram for $60.00,100 for $180.00
mine are 1 gram $8.00,3 for &15.00,10 for $30.00,100 for 125.00.

hay man check your info on the legalization of poppys, they are legal to possess and grow, all popies have alkaloid in them, some species maby depends on state code but other then that they are legal to grow, so then why do your local wall-mart and k-mart sell them?? think of it.

All varieties of Papaver somniferum are illegal to grow almost everywhere in the world, and prohibited by federal law in the US. K-mart or whoever can get away with selling them since nobody is really aware of the law because noone ever gets prosecuted, and vice versa...catch-22. You could still technically be busted for cultivating them, tho'.

hay man if you do not believe me go a head and write the dea, I know I wrote them to get some info on poppies, they told me in the e-mail that the cultivation of the plant, is not illegal, but the extraction of the alkaloid is against the law and then they will get you for cultivation of the popie plant for illegal purposes. Get familiar with the laws of your state, it does make it easy. if you wish to write the dea here is the link to there site http://www.dea.gov

"The PLANT" is NOT a Schedule II Drug (not to mention, Schedule II Drugs are NOT illegal either, only schedule I Drugs are illegal).
But "OPIUM POPPY" and "POPPY STRAW" IS illegal because of the mere fact they're being referred to in that regard.
WHY? Because those two TERMS above SPECIFICALLY refer to the Act of MANUFACTURING OPIUM
the Wikipedia States under "LEGALITY / UNITED STATES" : "...the opium poppy is legal for culinary or esthetic reasons.."
