The Panaeolus papilionaceus of Hong Kong, China

Found these today in the very nice Hong Kong district of Olympic.
-Growing in the flowerbeds, at Olympic City 2 Mall.
Enjoy!~


The largest cap i found was over 2 inches in diameter.
-No bluing occurs on the base of the stems.
These mushrooms are not psychoactive.

They turn into an ugly black goo after dieing.
-And they smell exactly like Copelandia, when fresh.

Pics were uploaded without file extension, they are there but you can't see them. Just rename the files on your computer and add the extension, then upload again.

Well there they are,

My first assumption as to their correct identity
-is of course Pan papi.
--any other, assumptions? -Feel free

Weather here is .. rather hot and dry ..
-It is late winter now, and not a single drop of rain
has fallen from the sky since ive been here.

I have been on a couple other small islands in
the area, and have found zero wild mushrooms
on them, so far.

well our online servixe anvphone has been canceled at the house so im on shitty touchscreemn computer at trainstation.

yesterday it cut off as i was loading pictuures off what i believe to be psychoactive INOCYBES growing in nice lawn, and mycelium stains ggreen.

if plans go as i hope them to, i should leave HK with my girl Annie, toEspana!
