im so fuckin sick of booze man...

i hate getting drunk. when im drunk I like it, the next day I hate it because I dont remember much and I kno i must of said and done some stupid shit.  :thumbdown:

I hate hangovers. I hate sleeping in to sober up. I hate not being able to get it up if im too drunk.  I hate puking.

Im thru with it.  I will buy a HP tomorrow.

Anybody here quit drinking before?  What do u do now when you go out?  Get stoned, pop E, stay sober?  Hows ur life nowadays?

I realized i hated it after 3 years of being drunk everyweekend (high school).
It was when i started geting stoned and well... i just compared, i liked to chill, sit and talk, have a good laugh and wake up fress the next day, weed did it all for me.

I just hated exactly the same that you do right now, specially hangovers.
I've had really cruel experiences with alcohol, like when u go to bed and all is fucking moving and all is so tense and annoying. I would compare it with a really bad trip.
Many of my friend say then don't get hangovers and that i just should drink more so i get used to it but i just don't enjoy drinking and acting like a jerk, also the feeling of alcohol intoxication is not totally pleasent for me (if i go over 3 beers i just get sleepy or sick). Ocassional beer is still ok but you know, after done psychedelics i understood many things about my life and it's direction... alcohol is not something i like anymore; IMHO it is pointless exept for partying but again, i am not a social drug person.

My friends that i used to drink with they are now heavy drinkers and get really stupid everyweekend, have no girlfriends or anyrealtionship outside their drinker circle, i've tryed to be with them but they just end up in stupid conversations in which a non drinker opinion means nothing so it is not pleasent to be around.

My life is different in many ways (6 years have passed) yet i enjoy more my weekend mornings without terribe thirst, headeaches and mental gaps from last night. I leave alcohol for red wine dinners and beers at the beach.

I am not in a 'going out' stage right now, but when i do i smoke some herb before maybe i'd have a smooth coktail at the bar and enjoy all other things.

Booze is great, it's a staple of our society

I rarely get drunk, but when I do it's a blast!
I'll generally have a couple beers every night of the week though. It's very enjoyable like this.

I don't really like alcohol either. I find that it makes me a little bit more social, so whenever I'm at a party I tend to drink 'til I'm buzzing a little bit. It makes me less introspective and more extroverted, and for that reason it can come in handy. But I hate hate hate getting drunk. Getting drunk makes me feel like an idiot, and needless to say, one can't be all too sociable when one is hunched over a toilet. What a fucking stupid state to be in. I only get drunk when I'm not paying attention to my alcohol intake and get carried away, and I always regret it.

When I'm high I can play music, but when I'm drunk I can't do shit. That's what makes it not fun. Not being able to do shit = not fun.

As long as I'm not doing it too often, I don't mind it much.

Usually on those days where I drink too much and get really sloppy drunk or sick, I always feel like taking a break from drinking for a while.

I'm fucking sick of weed.

Smoking pot all day gets old really quick, and it's a hellauva lot more expensive than the drink.

Plus, I just got really tired of potheads.

I don't like sitting around all weekend hitting the bong and listening to phish. I want to go act like a drunk asshole and get some pussy.

and on that note, I'm off to get shitfaced.

werd. im sick of booze too, but its the only thing for me to do around here. i dont toke anymore so thats really all i have left to do. all in all i think booze is prob one of the most evil drugs, it really can fuck up your life if you let it. however drinking in moderation is key, not to say that i follow my own words but fuck it.

OMFG Doing ANYTHING "all day" will get old sooner or later and i think weed is less damaging than alcohol on a daily basis.
And around here pot is cheaper than booze anytime.
And... not all potheads are the same. And... well i don't wanna start a weed vs booze war but i find herb something more "respectable" than alcohol.

Oh, there is. Wasted years of life, drunk driving and other criminal charges, etc.
