quick question..(again)

ok...i birthed some cakes today-they have been fully colonized for about a week-ok here is my question-when i went to birth them,i chipped off a small amount and noticed that the cake was not fully colonized in the middle-so i check all the cakes i birthed and they were the same-not fully colonized in the middle-they are on the outside-will these cakes make it?
also another thing-we are having some weird weather for feburary, here in the south-my terrarium is at 78 degrees and i have all my windows up in my house trying to get it in the low 70's. will they fruit ok at this temp?i just moved into a new place and wasnt expecting such a temp change(upstairs apt now,that explans it)but they will be ok right? after i noticed the center of the cake,i didnt want to put them back in the jars-u know?they are pesas and lipas-i know both will fight off contams well, but is the mycellium strong enough to withstand contams if i am careful?

Yes, they'll still fruit.

26?C isn't too high. I wouldn't worry about your temperature being too high in unless it starts getting up to 28-30?C. They'll still fruit, just not abundantly.

well they were up to 80 earlier....but now down to 74

Well, 80 isn't quite 28 degrees Celcius is it? No...so don't worry about it. If you see it hit 28-30 and stay there for a long period of time then worry.
