Will my finger be OK?
    #5527173 -

Hello. I thought i might ask a question here because there are alot of truely responsible and caring people here

Someone bit my hand on the side where the pinky is (LONG story)
Well my pinky ring fingers (pinky especially) well there kinda numb.
I can still move it fine, but if i press it against my palm it feels *tingly*
Im kinda scared, if this will go away, or if theres anything i can do for it?
thanks
peace

I doubt they severed a nerve.  Just give it time and stop thinking about it

your pinky is gonna fall off... :frown:

no seriously, it sounds like a minor nerve injury which should heal itself soon enough

If your fingers feel like "pins and needles" you will likely get the feeling back within 2-4 weeks.

If they feel like they've been shot up with a local anaesthetic (totally numb) then it's likely that the nerve is extremely damaged and you may never recover the feeling. :frown:

Since nerve inflamation is likely, use ice to reduce the heat of the inflamation. This will speed the healing process and give some relief of the symptoms.

I'll probably always do drugs, so that just contributes to the addiction to The Shroomery... It's a vicious circle of bliss. :tongue2:

I think it will heal...

But for the record, I had both my index fingers almost cut of..

wild accident on the left, and an even wilder on the right..

I could not feel 'shit' from the scar, and out to the finger tip, so there could be an "eternal" damage, I guess..

But even I have gotten some feeling back..

So, ..I hope it heals!
Have a Great one!
