Pinched Nerves and Smoking Pot

So, I've been in constant pain these days unless I'm moving around or lying flat on my back. I got an x-ray done a few weeks ago and the diagnosis came back: spina bifida on the S-1 level (mild, not the source of pain) and mild scoliosis of the lower lumbar spine convexed to the left (basically my lower spine bends slightly to the left).

So I'm almost positive the pain is radiating from a pinched nerve.

Ive noticed that my pain has gotten worse when I smoked pot. So I'm wondering does smoking pot have any effects on inflammation or nerves?

Ive also come upon some information a few times about how certain organs do not function as well when certain nerves are pinched as you can see here in this pic:


Well lately when I piss after smoking pot it seems to be a little harder to expel (This has been going on for almost a year, and seemed to start before the back pain). I have been led to believe this is from anxiety and still think so, but also believe that the pinched nerve may be making it even worse (as you can see in the chart my pinched nerve is either very near, if not exactly on the nerve that effects bladder, and sex organs)

If anyone has any information to share please do.

Yea, I love doing that and just hearing you talk about it makes me want to do it. I would even moreso love to get one of those bars where you can hang upside down. I have wanted to do this for a long time and I imagine it would feel very good during, and afterwards.

Sometimes smoking weed can help with physical injuries, but I find that heady sativas just make me trip out on the pain. The most shared symptom is feeling "throbbing" whether it's an aching pain, bruise or anything else... friends have noticed this too.

If it bothers you, try laying off of it until it passes. If you can, smoke some indica or put some roaches in a bong. That does the trick for me.

Can you get some treatment massage? Triggerpoint works well, and used in combination with passive positional techniques, where the body is put into its most possibly optimal alignment through placement of bolsters (cushions), and deep tissue on related muscles, can be very effective in working with nervous ailments triggered by posture.

Passive positional is a very useful potentiator for energy work as well, nerves are the electrical wiring of the muscles!

Im making a chiropractor appointment tomorrow. Anyone have any experience with one? Good idea?

A DO will also align your spine. We do simple restoration of alignment but you need a better diagnosis and maybe some temporary pharmacal support.
If it's a pinched nerve ok - but you need to know if it was an accident or something else is causing it to "re-pinch" and address that.
Chiro should be able to help but if not or sounds weird hit here again or PM me if you like....
