Would it be okay to take Ayahuasca tomorrow?

I took Concerta(time released ritalin) this mourning at 11:30am and If I do ayahuasca it won't be till around late at night tomorrow. Im worried that it could somehow react with the maoi's. I don't know think itwould be alright?

Im wanting to risk it though how I feel is horrible everyday. I feel like dieing right now I need healing to tell you the truth.

You really need to find the right time to use ayahuasca.

I hope most people know that ayahuasca is not to be used to simply trip and get some cool visuals.
I am sure that with most americans who use ayahuasca, their approach is all wrong. I can see just after reading enough posts on this site, that people equate it to all these other hallucinogens like lsd, and mushrooms.

Also, it changes the way your brain works for a very long time, and in a FAR more obvious way than with mushrooms or lsd. If you dont go into it with the right intentions, I just hope you come out of it ok and with some direction when you do take it.

This hallucinogen can be so "real" at the right dose, It can change your life. There are teachers within us all, and ayahuasca teaches you things like no other hallucinogen.
Im not here to dicuss what these teachers are, but they are smarter than you or I. Im not talking magic, though it could be considered to be magic. Its more of a science, but the kind of science you cant really communicate unless you really know what was going on inside your head as it pertains to the "known" scientific realms.

Seriously, good luck to those who use ayahuasca to simply "trip". Im sure they will still learn a thing or two, but its true teachings will fall short in many ways....

Like the thread maker said, he needs healing, this should give you an opportunity to do so. Just wait afew days after any med you are on, and eat right.

Dude, if you want this stuff to heal you, which it very easily could, just do it at the right time. Really.... I wouldnt take ayahuasca unless my body was free of any foreign substances.

You just might not heal at all if you disrespect the drug and yourself at the same time. Just wait until your system is clear. I mean totally clear. You cant heal and not care all at the same time.

Just take it with the natural state of your mind, im sure they will mix well and you will learn some things. Metaprogramming, being reborn, call it what you will.

That should be just about enough.

Healing with ayahuasca would just work better if you have no drugs interacting with you mind. Whether or not that makes you feel weird or even miserable doesnt make any difference. Marijuana is a whole nother story though. Though it can be psychedelic, there is no good reason to avoid it for days before the trip, though I certainly wouldnt recommend it during the peak of the experience. Id be amazed if you can even find your pipe and weed during the peak.

So ya, 3 days should be good, for an even more all natural approach a week would be best. After 3 days your approach is basically all good. Id say the same thing for people who take anti-depressants except I would recommend an even longer period of time without using them. People who are depressed should not have an anti-depressent's lingering within their system if they want to heal, or want to never have to take meds to help them live in a comforitable way.
