Your favorite way to consume salvia?

Just a random ramble from yours truly, but does anyone else prefer to sucking on leaves of salvia opposed to smoking it(leaves or extract). I have actually got bored of smoking salvia and only consume salvia by sucking on the leaves, does anyone else do this?

I was just thinking possibly cutting up the leaves in a few pieces then placing them under your tongue would work better then on top of your tongue...correct?

It doesn't seem like you could breakthrough by just sublingual administration..but maybe I am wrong?

I know other effects can be achieved, but not a breakthrough

I use a combination of buccal and sublingual absorption-

I rinse my mouth with Listerine and use a quid which I move around in my mouth from under my tongue to between cheek and gum, while attempting to hold the saliva secreted in my mouth for a period. I keep a bowl handy in case I need to spit some of the saliva out, as well as for the discarding of the quid when I'm ready.

I like this method, not so much for its convenience (because its anything but,) but the onset is so much gentler. There isn't so much of a drastic pull, more of a sliding feeling.

could you extract salvinorin and then later turn that into a blotter?

also, is salvia inactive if ingested?
if i put salvinorin in a cap and swallow it, what woulds happen?

I have no idea, what you guys are talking about.. I am all about MJ, I am just learning here, but in my case what would work better the leave on top of my tongue or below?

Smoking extract will yeild the most potent results.

If using regular (non-extract) leaves alone, even after several attempts at every method I read about ingesting salvia by smoke, quid, or otherwise did absolutely nothing. Extract is the only thing that worked for me.

i have smoked salvia before and havent felt anything.. i even bought a nice little butane lighter for it (i heard u needed to heat it hotter than a normal flame can get it)

i smoked freshly dried material with normal bic lighters with some of the most interesting visuals i could ever imagine. I'm luckily not a "hard-headed" individual.

ive never had to use a torch lighter either, a regular bic on leaves can get me going, and a regular lighter on 10x.....that shit will blow me away

it takes 50 times as much to threashold orally, because oral absorption is too slow.
a huge waste to bother.
instead I found it effective carefuly to put salvinorin on cigarette paper, and then to cut those up and smoke them as premeasured doses.

I put around 20 mg salvinorin on a single cigarette paper.

a one second combustion of a fragment equal to 1/50th of a full cigarettepaper puts me to level 4 every time.

lots falls off on my fingers during the process of making these papers for future sessions, maybe equal to 30 doses, I can lick it off with impunity, it has hardly any effect.

i really dont like smoking salvia. i have done a few experiments with salvia extracts and so on but it has been disapointing. i chew freshly picked leaves and i get so much more from the experience. sure it takes a lot more but when you have the plant growing that is not really an issue.

you can always try the other end of the horse, absorbs much faster. I tried it just for expermentation sake.
