Spawning to Coco : Mycelium Growth Froze

I recently spawned some Orissa India on WBS to Coco Coir at about a ratio of 30% WBS - 70% Coco. The mycelium was sgrowing and spreading rapidly till about the 4th day when it seemed to have just stopped. Nothing mush has happened for 2 days.
Another casing I have of PF which I spawned 2 days later than the Orissa India using the same technique is almost fully colonized.
So what should I do, give it more time, or maybe mix up the substrate a bit so the mycelium spreads out more?

Um.. Waited two more days. The other casing is almost 100% colonized. That first one is still showing little to no new mycelium growth. What do I do? Maybe it needs more water?

You got it! Try misting it until near saturation then cover it but not totally sealing it so there is some gas exchange.

Oyster Shell "Flour" $2 for 1lb. a hell of a deal Not what is overlay but rather what overlay is Gas Exchange vs. FAE "We all have priorities. I used a closet once setup a nice little lab trouble was all the shit that was in there ended up in the bedroom that pissed off the GF then I ended up dumping her as she was getting in the way of my sterile culture technique! Ya I got priorities too!!!"

coco coir isnt a nutritious substrate, it's great for casings when used with vermiculite but as only coco coir, it'sll dry out very fast

Coir is kinda nutritious actually. And IME isn't a great choice for a casing over 30%, it works but not as good as peat.

What he means is, coir is FAR from optimal. Myc will colonize & fruit off it. But, it lacks a lot & compost or h/poo is FAR FAR better.
