Terranium Question

will this work? im a slight bit concerned about air exchange, today i plan on either getting another fish tank pump to add to this terranium or getting a computer fan. the humidity level seems to be allright, but i dont want it to build up on the lid, besides putting vaseline on the lid what else can i do? should i put this all on a timer and what can i do about some lights? right now i have only 1 cake in the terranium as a test, and i want to case. any suggestions?

I'd just fan regularly , and have the thing near some natural light for the correct number of hours.
YOu should do what feels best for you. I looks like it works , however the petroleum jelly on the seal seems a bit much. Good luck and yes you can add another pump if you want. Peace.

a computer fan works well, but can be tricky to rehulate humidity with. If you blow air out, the humidity will drop alot. If you blow air in, humidity will also drop, but not quite as much.

Since you have a rubermaid, I would mount the fan blowing in, than cut a piece of hepa filter taped to the hole in the rubbermaid to keep out bad air. But dont cut a hold the enitre size of the fan. start with a small hole do draw a little air in, than expand as needed. Careful not to kill your humidity. But aftwer you accomplish the adjustments, you will have a fully functional setup.
