Two Quick Questions..

Long time reader..first time poster..

AFOAFOAF has a few questions:

1) This friend has some rubbermaid containers...they are clear see through on the sides, but the lid is white. He doesn't want to cut the lids up for lighting..is the ambient light from the sides, and perhaps the reflection off the white lid enough for fruiting?
2) This friend also has too many jars that have colonized..too many to case or fruit in a terranium for his amount of space. They have all been in the dark for the past 2+ weeks...can he bring the extras into the light now and use the Hippie Neglect Tek?

Any thoughts? Thank you.

1) if youre really worried you can turn the tupperware container upside down with the lid on the bottom and the tupperware container on top.
2)Yes

just because you stick feathers up youre butt does not make you a chicken.

If the sides of your containers are clear then you'll need to wrap them with alu foil or you'll get dozens of little shrooms pinning up against the sides, which will then die and rot -- that is if you're talking about casings. In either case you probably don't need to worry about giving your shrooms enough light, though; all they need is a few minutes per day to grow in the right direction, and if you fan them a couple times a day they'll get it then.
