The Illusive green mold possibly posing as bruises....

Since the night after I birthed my cakes they seem to have little green splotches and dots on them from time to time. I've
posted about this several times and posted pics and most people say that its just bruising but its GREEN. Not blue or blue
green. Straight up green. Darker than a Teen Age Mutant Ninja Turtle with a tan. If it is a mold though then its infected
one of the cakes for four days now and it hasnt spread anywhere on the surface but one other little green spot right next
to the initial one and its really light and small. All of my cakes have this.
I just got up and the first thing I did was look at the cakes. One of them had a big green spot about the size of a skittle
on one of the edges (I remembered later that when I was misting last night I conked that cake with the spray bottle pretty
good.) and so like the FAQ on here tells us I wiped it with a q-tip and nothing came off. Now me being the big skeptic that
I am I took it a little further and wiped it harder, this time a little bit of flesh came off of the myc & it was tinted a
little green so I began to wonder and ponder on if the FAQ intended me to rub the q-tip across slowly and softly or kind of
firm. I couldnt get online because the line was tied up at the time so I just did something I figure would tell me if that
is the horrible green mold I have been fearing for days. I took a pair of scissors and flame sterilised them then wiped
them down with alchohol pads and then carefully cut away the small chunk from my cake that had the green portion. When I
did this and saw underneath the surface of my myc there was a little green around where I cut that had not been there
before... I was puzzled at this and so I did the only thing I could do. I found a big bright white spot where NO green
could be found what so ever and I then struck the cake twice with the scissors not hard enough to break the cake but just
hard enough as to where I knew I was inflicting some damage. I put it back into the terrarium and then listened to a
song... I believe it was Scream of the Butterfly by ACIDBATH... Anyways. When I looked back to my cake not eight minutes
later. BAM!!! To my surprise I saw that the side I had struck had in fact turned green with little blotches all over it.
Now for the question. I was just wondering. How long does it take for myc to heal a bruise? Will this now hinder
pinning/fruiting in any way? And for the grand prize. Can mold spread that fast in eight minute? So fast that my bruise
exsperiment is really just a distraction away from the real problem at hand... Is that green mold or bruising?!
This shit looks green people. Nasty dukey green. Not a pretty light blue or a tint of green. GREEN.
P.S. Forgive me for being super analytical and skeptic/pessimistic... And for posting like five questions a day... And for
sometimes posting in the wrong forum... And for... For... Jesus save the starvin' pygmies & such...

Hey dude relax... i know how this is but u just have to understand the reason of that color. Bruising is psylocibin oxidizing and a mold is some kind of fungus akay? So... from what i know... mold will turn green because of the spores it produces but it is white before, so if u inspect ur cake u should notice diff. myc growth, check for smells too but do not hard sniff that thing molds can be dangerous.
I am not saying it is a mold but if it is it can be noticable... if u doubt just put it apart from the other cakes (if u have any) and check for mold growth in a few days, if it is mold it will look horrible. From what i understand u cut ur cake here and there... well bruising occurs in about 5 minutes and it stays pretty much for a long time (no mold grows in 5 mins even fast ones :P ).
Good luck with that... don?t to that much shit to ur cakes... just watch them, play your cards wisely or u?ll get your whole growth messed up.
If it is mold there almost nothing u can do so don?t push it. Gud luck again and if mold start over and learn from this.

Well, if the wound you inflicted is the same shade of green, I'd say you're in good shape. If it is a contam, you should be able to watch it spread from day to day. The bruised areas don't recover well in my experience, but unless you have large areas that are bruised, the cake should be fine.

Some strains such as Redboy bruise green, not blue. RR
