rye tek question

1) need to try a rye tek (been pf tek and casing brf cakes all these years) can someone point me to a well written, understandable page?
is there a good success rate at innoculating pressure cooked rye with colonized brf cakes?

2) what are sclerotia? are they edible, easy to grow? are they prized?

You can innoculate with colonized BRF cake pieces...though you would need to be sterile i.e - glovebox

2) what are sclerotia? are they edible, easy to grow? are they prized?

Sclerotia are hardened mass of mycelium. They are usually 30% matter and 70% water. They are indeed edible. Growing on rye grass seed promotes sclerotia formation, and Psilocybe Mexicana is best known for its sclerotia forming abilities.
