Has Anyone tried the MushMush rye Tek with any sucess?
The TEK calls for 720ml jars however I could only find Quart sized, does this make a difference if so in what way?

I have used this tek and still use it, with a couple modifications.
First off, qrt jars will work fine.
This tek is by far one of the easiest to use. But, I started following directions exactly and always came out with contams. Lost over 30 jars. Now I have 100% success and jars fully colonize in 3 weeks. Usually 2, but I like the growth to be a bit stronger before casing. Here's what I do:
Instead of putting water and rye together then sterilizing, I pre-cook the rye. It kills endospores in the grain. This was the source of all my contams.
Mix half rye / half water. Put in pot. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Simmer for 1 hour. Drain excess water (I use a strainer for this). Let it sit in strainer until enough water is removed (about 15-20 mins.)
Fill qrt jars 1/2" from top (I would rather have a full colonized jar instead of half - so I do not shake). Tap them on table lightly. I use a verm layer for contam protection, so put 1/2" of verm layer. Seal jars the normal way (with lid upside down, 4 holes, tape, tinfoil). Pressure cook for an hour and a half. Presto. I put about 1 cc per hole (until it runs down each corner to the bottom of jar) but less would work of course, just takes longer to fully colonize. Loosen the lids a bit for air exchange and replace tin foil after innoc'ing. Keep'em at 82-86 for three weeks and then you are ready to case.
For casing the only thing I do differently is - Coco Fiber - this is the best casing material in my opinion. Straight verm will also work. Always had cobweb with the 50/50 teks. No contams since switching to coco.
That's pretty much it. I swear by this tek. It produces 4-6 flushes easily, never contams, and you are not screwing around with measuring cups, water ratio's and all the BRF nonsense. A 40lb bag of rye in Canada goes for $20. Enough for 110 jars. I plan on trying the spawn bags next. Hope this helps.

Ok so you use the coco instead of the verm or you use both together also do you use the lime as mush mush suggests and how much does on casing yield.

no lime, no verm mixed with coco, 9x11 produces 3/4 - 1 oz dry consistently on first flush with eq's. A little less each flush. On third flush I break the whole casing up and recase over with another 1/2 " coco. Third flush this morning produced a shroom weighing 72 grams wet. 4" cap. Air exhange, temp and humidity are very important for the size of flush - practice.
