Quart jar full of colonized rye, what should I do?
    #528231 -

I have a quart jar of rye full of mycelium. I did it as an experiment. It was colonized by a bit of of a broken up PF cake. My question is, can I use the rye to innoculate more pf cakes? How would I do it?
Or should I use the jar to colonize more jars of rye an go for casings. I'm pretty much a new grower with medium results using PF tek.

Both are possible, but you must be sterile when transferring your colonized rye into sterilized jars. But to answer your question, it can be done.

If the jar is full , take half and innoculate some more rye. Then just allow the jar to produce fruits. Good luck. Peace.
