Big black chunk in my jar

There is a chunk of black stuff in one of my jars could it be contamination or a big chunk of verm.

IMO: As long as it is in the jar and your jars are well sealed, don't worry much right now. Keep an eye on it, if it does not change size or shape it shouldn't pose a problem. When its time to birth, birth all your other cakes first, take that jar to another room, open it and smell it. If it smells ok, I would put it right in with the others.

If the spot changes morphology before its time to birth, I would just shit-can it.
