Hey everyone, just a quick question. would a food dehydrator set to 90*F be too hot, or will it not affect potency?

I myself have noticed a decrease in potency when dried to fast (too hot) I think 130F is plenty warm enough. Once dried then they are much more stable. People often are confused about heat and psilocybin/psilocin, heat destoys psilocin very quickly and psilocin has it's own unique twist to the experience so it's a good thing to eat fresh shrooms for the added psilocin experience but for those who don't like the taste or are storing them drying is necessary. When making teas psilocybin degrades but at a rate unnoticable in the short time it is in contact but leave them simmering for any length of time and they will be void of actives. Excuse the rambling I'm just a twice baked potatoe at the moment.

any heat that we would be using to dry rzther than cook mushrooms will not degrade psilocybin. check about ten other threads from the past week or two.
