Depends how hydrated your shrooms are when you pick them... a decent rule of thumb re P. subaerugs seems to be they dry up to about 1/8 or so of what they weighed wet... I don't have experience drying any other type of shrooms.

IME fresh is more potent, it only took 2 full shrooms and 5 aborts to kick my ass allover the place for 8 hours!
