A message from Einstein
    #526113 -

a reminder from your local Mystic:
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed." -Albert Einstein.

I love it when people quote a famous scientist or philosopher in a thinly-veiled attempt to further their own agenda, particularly when they preface it with something that suggests the scientist/philosopher in question actually shared these views, as your "local Mystic" bit attempts to do. Jehovah's Witnesses are especially fond of this tactic, if you've ever read one of those Awake or Watchtower magazines. It doesn't seem to be working for them, either.

*sigh*
Mystic -
Adjective
1. Of or relating to religious mysteries or practices. 2. Of or relating to mysticism or mystics. 3. Inspiring a sense of mystery and wonder. 4. a. Mysterious; strange. b. Enigmatic; obscure. 5. Mystical.
NOUN
One who practices or believes in mysticism.

Don't be so quick to judge. My intentions of posting this were not to "ally myself with Einstein", but to provide a quote from a man who said something that has been on my mind better than I could say it myself.

I know what "mystic" means. If you wanted to make me look stupid, you should have given me the definition of "local".

>My intentions of posting this were not to "ally myself with Einstein"...

I was more worried you were trying to ally Einstein with yourself. And you did say in another thread that you posted it "just for" Swami during an argument about scientific method versus whatever it is that the Shroomery Flat-Earthers believe in. So I assumed you posted it as much for its author as for its actual content.
