Properly aged Horse-manure / How do you do it?????

I've obtained about 10kilos of horse manure :grin:

I left it outside last night, becouse i read that there is no problem if it gets frozen. Today i hacked it to pieces and ive put it in treys into boiler room near the boiler.

How long must i age it, must i further cut it up????

I read all poo topics that are around, but please post advices, becouse i realy need them iam preparing for horse poo growing sooooooooon  :crazy2:

Well exactly how fresh is that poo? If it's already kinda whitish, crumbly, and lacking smell, then it might be fine. If it's not, then just throw the poo outside for a couple of weeks. Let it get rained on a time or two, then let it get dried out by the sun. Personally I like to put the poo on a tarp so that it doesn't melt into the ground, and it makes for easier collection. Also you want to make sure you spread it out and not just pour it into a pile, so that all the poo is equally exposed to the weather.

hmmmmmmmm yesterday was freshly obtained from a horse or two :grin:

I crumbled it up and spread it out in several treys.

what should i do?

Well just like I said. Toss it outside on top of a tarp or a trashbag or something and let it sit in the weather for a good two weeks. When it stops stinking like shit and smells more like earth, then you're straight.

What about drying it up after it was two weeks outside, or i just pasterize it right ahead????

and how is it with proper moister content, must i hydrate it or it will be done between pasterization???

yes... go get you a large tarp (with that much)

and spread it eavenly, and allow the rain, moisture, sun. just weatherize it.

i would wake up every morning and go hose it down, and let the sun dry it up by 3:00. do this enough and you will rinse all the urine out of it, and amonia nasties.

when it starts to smell more like soil your good to go.

Have you read agar's or Roadkill's teks on preparing Hpoo? Both take care of moisture content and pasteurization in slightly different ways, but both teks get the job done superbly. So if you haven't read them yet, do that. Then if you still have questions, read through the FAQs pertaining to your query. Then, if you still have quesitons, go ahead and post again. I'm not trying to sound mean or anything, but the site is full of info, especially if you do a little reading.

Hah, happy to be of assistance. If you haven't seen those before though, then I'm assuming that means you don't know of the cultivation archive. It's right there above the posts here in the cultivation forums. It's just an archive the all the beneficial teks that were first introduced here in the forums. It's a great resource. Anyways, good luck with your grows man. If it turns out pretty, post some pics and show it off.

You don't really need to get it wet.
It will dry and age just fine inside.

Iam not a total newbie, iam reading all the stuff on this forum for about 3 years, but i never saw that tek  :sad:

I have a lot of successful grows behind me, but now i got a chance to try it with h/poo  :crazy2:
