Anyone here take Seroquel?

I'm on 600mg of that shit every night.

I feel like all it is doing is putting me on a regular sleeping pattern. During the day though I feel exhausted.

I saw my doc yesterday and told him about the meds...and he gave me Abilify instead of the Depakote and bumped my Seroquel up.

I'm gonna give this shit a try....
but I'm really not enjoying taking this crap...
also...if I have such a bad attitude about taking it..wouldn't that have and effect on how the drug affects me?

I have been taking it lately - I'm not prescribed though.
There is a recent thread discussing Seroquel in the ODD forum as well with some info and experiences in it. Good luck with it.

I was about 1200 Mgs of it for a while. It made me feel tired all the time too. I've found Risperdal to me much less of a body load than Seroquel.

My Dad's on it... he said he sleeps, but it makes him feel groggy until about 5 pm the next day, at which point he's about to take his next dose. :P

Abilify is the newer of the two.

I'm curious as to why he has you on BOTH drugs simultaneously. They are both atypicals (although abilify is hypothesized to have a slight different mechanism of action).

Let me get this straight. You told him the Seroquel was giving you problems and not only did he up the dose he added another drug?

You don't need a new drug. You need a new doctor.
