I think that people who going to be asking about heroin (or any other hard drug I guess) sure as fuck better be mature enough to wade through a few replies of "Dude, you're gonna get addicted." blah blah.

I don't think the "dude you're gonna get addicted" replies are quite the focus here.

I think it's more along the lines of "YOU ASSHOLE DRUGGIE FUCKER WILL STEAL YOUR MOMS TV FOR CRACK" that people don't appreciate.

Well my post still applies then. Who gives a fuck. Obviously if you are planning on trying a hard drug you should realise that there are many people out there who have extremely negative views on the drug. Here even more so, through first hand experience.

I would assume that some one could illicite a rational conversation on the said drug from some of the posters, and fuck the rest.

Yeah you'll get good replies if you sort through the ridiculous ones. That works for just about anything here, and I don't think there's one member here who can't carry on a serious conversation or give rational advice when the time is right.

Yes but at what point do you realize that you are one? I don't believe anybody starts out in life as a junkie, skumbag or loser, so at what point did they start acting in such a way to foster those views? If a large enough percentage of people you come into contact with think you're a junkie, skumbag loser then maybe you need to take a serious look at yourself.

i did take a serious look at myself.
and hated what i saw.

there was something wrong before the drug use began.

i was looking to be comfortable alone,
not comfortable in the company of others.

Im not so sure thats always true. It definatly can and does hold true in some cases though.

I recently tried coke for the first time (not sure if i really consider that a hard drug, but sure, whatever) and it was nice. I didnt really think about it that much before trying it, other than wondering how the dopamine levels would effect me.

Trust me, coke's a hard drug. Spending money you don't have and giving a drug priority over friends/family is a sign of a hard drug.
