perlite in a coke bottle terrarium?

im growing puerto ricans for my first attempt, and ive been told that adding perlite to the bottom of the coke bottle would be a good idea, what do you think? btw, i searched but found nothing on this, so please help me!

though i have never used a coke botttle for a fruiting chamber, i believe i recall someone mentioning that 1 cake can be produce its own humidity in such a small chamber. why dont you go spend 6 bucks or so on a rubbermaid or serilite container? that way you can put all of your cakes in one fruiting chamber

perlite will raise the humidity, but the peeps i know who use it usually have the humidity at 99% be sure not to add to much perlite or you will never get the humidity down to 95% i find it easier to raise the humidity with perlite then lower it.

don't seal the terrerium and you wont get 99%.
