So as some of you know, I am going to Switzerland in a few days to attend the "LSD, problem child and wonder drug" symposium, created on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Albert Hofmann.
Now, since there's been quite a bit of interest about it here I've decided that I'm going to keep a log of what happens there, and post the recordings or interviews I'll make.

Also, since there are turns for questions for almost every speaker it'd be interesting if we as a community interested in psychedelics could create a list of interesting questions to ask given the oportunity; Speakers who will answer questions include Jonathan Ott and the  Shulgins, but many others will too, so check out the speakers list on the program.

I've included as an attachment scans of every page in the planning sent by the organization so you guys can check it out, and can give me your opinions on which lecture would you be more interested in so I can record and post them :thumbup:

So that's about it for now, as I said I'll be keeping a log and it will be posted in this thread.

And remember to post your questions for the speakers so I can ask them whatever interests most the community!

I would be curious as to what the chemists and psychonauts think about what the next turn in psychadelics will be?

there is a current trend towards the research chems, especially the 2cXX family.... do they see that continuing? do they think that ongoing research on psychadelics is potentially beneficial to society?

what are their personal views on psychadelics' place in the WOD in America and other countries?

i could ask questions for days, i guess... but a lot on those lines... their views of the past of psychadelics versus where it will go in the next 100 years (if we as a current society/species last that long)....

Utterly not a psychedelic question but I'm still curious as to what these Scientist\Researchers opinions are.

I know they exist down there

P.S. I got my aquarium set up for the cultivation of psychoactive seaweed,
I just need help with aquiring the tek for extracting the psychoactive compounds...

Just a quick update; I don't have an internet conection here so I still can't post about how fucking awesome it is, but rest asured that I have provided some nice gifts for my shroomery frineds we're gonna love. I'm also on good termns with the shulgins and lots of other cool speakers so wait patiently

:yesnod: You won't even believe what I've got here for you guys to see, Ingo's eyes went crazy when I showed it to him.

I also recorded every lecture I attended to, and got 3 DVDs for the most emotional lectures. (I'll post the torrents for them ASAP)

About the pics, I took lots but most aren't that good for several reasons; however there's a new section at erowid for people who attended to post theirs so I think you'll have enough there :smirk:
I'll post mine anyway of course.

All in all, an amazing experience that even tho too expensive I couldn't let pass and I can tell you now for sure that it was worth it! I even cried several times, it was that beautiful being there :laugh:

Or maybe it was that hug Nick Sand gave me that made me cry?
Or maybe singing happy birthday to Hofmann with other 2000 guys?
Or maybe getting Shulgin's private email?






You'll have to wait until I arrive in Madrid to know it :grin:

No, but mostly because I didn't call, I was too shy to say "hey, I'm this guy who knows BoO etc" you know?
But everyone in the hostel was going to the symposium so I'm sure we actually met.

I got to meet some really freaky hippie dudes friends of Leary and everything... strange week!
