Funkyballoon's NEW Tissue Culture Technique???
    #514235 -

I saw a post in the archives about such a 'tissue culture technique' and it seems great, but I cannot read Funkyballoon's post, all I get are two small empty picture boxes. What was this technique? Anybody know? Please explain it!

you my friend have made me a very happen person, finally some newbie ( i dont mean to say that there are others that don't, but most don't) spent their time searching and reading and then after they had exhausted all other possibilites and still had some issues, you came and posted. now I do recall funkyballoon ( i haven't actually havent seen that name mentioned in a very long time) and i do not recall the post you speak of. but there are a bunch of different tissue culture teks. taking a core sample and moving it to agar or honey water. wait, i think i recall what the post may have been, I think funkyballoon took a core ample or agar dish or something and then used the blender tek (hook it up to a smoothie machine, because the mouth of the blender fit the wide mouth of a pint jar perfectly) and then use that to distribute the mycelium into the water and then used a syringe to innoculate more jars, using that water.

I hope this helps, again I THINK thats what the post was.

peace, ar393

I had just posted on this and had to delete it cuz I saw this post. I also came across this last nite and am very interested in it, but the pics didn't work for me either. Anyone know of a direct document related to this? So far it seems like all u do is take a core sample, mix it in w. water by way of a smoothie blender and that's it?? Sounds pretty easy and effective!!!
