Method Questions

I have a few questions about methods implicated;
currently waiting on spore syringes

agar is prepared in the following method;
250g potatoes boiled, and strained water into a jar,
added 15g agar, 10g dextrose powder, and 1.5g yeast
heated, poured apx. 20ml into small jars
autoclaved for 45mins (tinfoil covering lids)
allowed to harden in autoclave for 4 hours,
remove from autoclave, put upside down in a box
is this method, recipe, ok for innoculation from spore syrnges?

as for the spawn jars..
they are made from 1cup whole grain rye, 1 1/4 cup water, in quart mason jars. lids loosely on, covered in foil, autoclaved 45mins, removed. cooled in autoclave, tightened lids, stored

is this method suitable for colonization from slices of colonized agar?

agar only needs 15 minutes at 15 PSI.
did you allow your rye to remain in the water for 24 hours? my cat shakes her rye after letting it soak, after PCing (while hot) and before innoculating.
otherwise you are golden.
but i would flip the jars back to normal beofre you squirt the spore water in, and you also only need like a drop or two per 'plate'.

also my cat only uses 10g of agar per 500ml h2o.
