wait till after the federal election in janurary before deciding on moving to ole canada. i think theres a good chance even the liberals would pass the conservative plan to put in mandatory minimums for growing. (two years for even one plant) so either way...canada will be fucked soon!

I plan on moving to BC too once I have the means. I'd suggest living in a smaller city outside of Vancouver, rent should be cheaper there.

their attitudes are changing a great deal, fewer cops are enforcing the laws as
they are supposed to, they simply overlook the shit, all my shit was happening
in a large city, the county seat, there were 600 cops in that town at any given time
yhe counties population was 250k and growing (from around 15k people 20 years
earlier), a rarely had issues with the cops, they even gave me 'advice' regarding

watching him, setting shit up", I warned him, he stopped selling but had already
sold 20 hits of acid to their undercover...


here in this small town(population 900), I have gotten 1 ticket, failed to show
up in court or pay the fine, called 2 years later to take care of it, they never
issued a warrant or had my license suspended, the total fines were $35, that was
for no proof of insurance, normaly around a $700 fine, I never provided to them
any proof of insurance when I paid the fines, they asked if I was insured over
th phone, I said yes, they said "send us $35 and your done"

every time they came with a warrant, I went to jail, I never got extra charges
from the weed, and only once did I lose the weed to them as well as my pipe,
that was enough for about 3 small bowls, the cops started off as assholes
my friend started growling at one of them, the cop said "you dont like me, I
probably wouldnt like you, keep your teeth inside your lips and I'll let
them stay there too, understand?"  I think that was what broke them down

well, me and a friend of mine are very serious about moving to BC (at least for a temporary time frame) but we have to finish school before we do so. This puts the move-in date to Spring 2008 at the earliest. I am very much into organic farming and even electricity generation (depending on what kind of land i can occupy, not realistic in a suburb or city).

we are going to make a road trip to BC from california at some point before then to bum around and check out the city. it should be fun and give me a solid idea of what to expect from the area.
