Yellowing Cakes

Birthed my cakes a couple of weeks ago and little mushrooms are starting on a few of the cakes. But some of the cakes are getting a yellow/orange color on the tops. but still sprouting mushrooms, but not many. Just a few from the bottom

Is this a problem?

I'm using perlite, and humidity is about 85% and temp is in the low 70's. The cakes are very wet with standing water on the tops

Please advise...

I wouldn't worry about it unless it's a bright yellow.

no i wouldnt worry about the yellow
i would worry about everything else though.
temps low 70's humidity only at 85 standing water on cakes????
ill tell you now that youre getting low yields is directly ralated to these factors youve listed without a doubt. aim for mid to high 70's temperature and fruits will grow bigger much faster. and get your humidity up at least to 90 but shoot for 95+ and you will get more pins on the full range of the cake not just at the bottom. and there is no way for pins to form with standing water on the top. dab that off with a paper towel right now and maybe if you raise humidity you will start to see pins on top also along with the sides. my no means let that water stand there; it will become stagnant and contaminated without a doubt after some amount of time.

oh yeah you wanna knwo what that yellow shit is? its damaged/dying mycellium tissue which was cause by that standing water. depending on how bad it is it may never repair itself in those spots making pinning in any yellow area impossible.
