casings and cakes in same chamber?

I would like to grow cakes along side casings but thought that since casings require lower humidity I may run into problems. Does anybody have any experience with doing this?

cakes dont need much of a terrarium cus they can grow shrooms in tiny tupperware containers or you can even go invitro/hippie tek with them. leave the casings for the terrarium cus they fruit better.
hey, you got to be genuine thats the name of this game. if you're real, then you aint got nothing to worry about, but if youre synthetic then starting tomorrow you're balls come off!

Man, disregard A_C's comments...
There is no harm in growing them together...mother nature isn't gonna bitch all that much about 2-3% difference in humidity. Done it plenty of times...

Maybe, maybe not!
Cakes need the highest humidity. They won't dry out as fast in 95-100% humidity. Likewise, the casing will become MORE prone to contaminate. We're NOT all going to have the same luck as the gentleman above. A 50/50 casing in VERY high humidity will surely contam or slow down. A verm only casing may perform better since most of us case, in essence when we make the jars-1/4 inch layer of verm for the top! Then again, there are the inoculation holes which allow moisture to somewhat escape.
If space allows, segregate cakes and casings. It's the smart way. No disrespect intended to anyone.

I'd just put them in the terrarium together and see what happens. No harm in a little experiment.
