sawdust substrate

I wonder if i can use any saw dust from any kind of wood. Meaning the way it was treated/preserved for exampale like kilen dried or presure treated and so on. I figured that it wouldnt matter after the sterilization took place but i want to know for sure before i try it.

Are you trying to grow wood loving species? What exactly are you wanting to grow? Most people using sawdust are innoculating shittaki's and other domesticated gourmet mushrooms?
