Her comment about you reminding her of herself when she was young seems a bit immature, patronizing, and self righteous.  One's personality doesn't change much in four years.  All of my friends still have the same personalities they did when we were little kids, with the exception of one friend, who has become an ego maniac.  So don't get your hopes up on bagging her as a girlfriend or anything, but I do believe you can lay her easily with some self confidence, which is what I would do in your shoes.  Maybe after you have sex with her, she'll think differently about you reminding her of herself when she was young, and you'll be able to have a relationship, but I wouldn't count on anything long term.

na, i can see how you might think that - but she's right.
