Satisfaction with life

Are you satisfied with your life? Do you think you'll ever reach a state of thorough satisfaction with it? Is your life rich and fullfilling? Are you just getting by with the least amount of effort you can put into things in order to get just enough happyness to keep you satisfied for the time being?

I try very hard in life, but I'm not 100% satisfied.  More like 80%.  I appreciate every moment though.  You gotta remember to appreciate the present moment...in the end that's all we're left with

I'm pretty much doing the bare minimum and remaining happy.

Though, I could use about 3 grand right now, my car is about to die, and I'm gonna be fuuuuucked.

It's fucking 30 degrees or less out and I have to have the windows rolled down because my exhaust system is so fucked it's leaking in through my hot air vents. :crankey: Other than that, I'm pretty happy with life.

No kidding. And all the shit I gotta get to is 25 miles away or more.

I think life is really in the most true definition, what you make it. Satisfaction and happiness are always within your reach if you have the strength and the courage to embrace it.

I tend to believe that satisfaction can only be reached by indirect means. If all you seek is to please yourself, then once you reach that goal you feel unsatisfied.

I think the way you live life either brings you satisfaction or dispair as a biproduct.

Most "Giving" people in my life tend to be most satisfied and far less likely to complain. While the "Do what feels good" and the "me me me's" tend to complain the most.

Just a personal observation. :smile:

I could be trying A LOT harder.

But for some reason my brain doesn't make it happen.

Every time I think about it, I forget 15 minutes later for 2 weeks.
