Yep, seriously. Grabbed someone else's by mistake. WTF is up with pulling them off and sticking them in the can, anyway?

It went down OK, cause I was gulping. It was 1/2 way down before I noticed and it felt like a big ice cube, mol.

Drinking pilsners never turns out good for me...

A beer tab is fairly small and has mostly rounded edges, so I would think it would go right through no problem. The only part I'd be concerned about is where the tab was broken off - it could scratch up his insides a little.

I saw a guy once on Guinness World Records who could swallow 5 quarters - all from different years - and then regurgitate them one at a time in ANY order he was asked.

Like someone could say "bring up the quarter from 1957" and he would cough/gag a little, then spit out the quarter from 1957.

Fucking bizarre!

well, I would drink a quart of warm water and try to toss it back up.

if that fails buy a box of rubber gloves and search your excrement for the next few days until you have verified its passage.

If passage can not be verified seek medical help

Yeah forget that! Just shit it out. It'll come out in a few days.

When I was little there was a kid in my grade who used to swallow stones from the playground. Some of them were quite a bit larger than a beer can tab, and he never seemed any worse off for it (other than from the inevitable teasing - the kid was eating rocks!)

well so far I seem no worse off than usual.  I think it is far more alarming that I seek medical advice in the pub, than that I swallowed a beer tab
